Trzy lata po bardzo dobrym "Les Cinq a sept post-néoistes" WERMUT powraca z drugą częścią post-neoistycznej trylogii, którą wydaje w Old Europa Cafe. Więcej wina, więcej magii, więcej schyłkowych, esencjonalnych emocji przyjaźni i więcej utworów w estetyce post-industrial / neo-cabaret. Na pierwszej części mieliśmy kilku gości, na drugiej podobnie. Tym razem na płycie udzielili się tacy znamienici muzycy jak na przykład Tairy z AIT!, czy Demian z O PARADIS, którzy wraz z członkami WERMUT, Sofie oraz Laszlo stworzyli po raz kolejny doskonały materiał. W tej muzyce jest wszystko to, co kocham, a co można znaleźć w dźwiękach wyżej wspomnianych grup. Dorzućmy jeszcze do powyższych impresji szczyptę zimnej melancholii znanej z albumu ICH WOLLTE, ICH KONNE "In Memoriam" (projektu członków WERMUT) i powstanie dźwiękowy klejnot. Każdy z siedmiu utworów zawartych na "Les Nuits Dalmates" to istny majstersztyk, niczym wykwintna kolacja nad brzegiem Adriatyku. Mnie najbardziej ujmuje i wzrusza kompozycja zatytułowana "Tan Distinto", w której śpiewa Demian z O PARADIS. To coś jak ścieżka dźwiękowa, do bajkowego, onirycznego filmu, w którym panuje anielski spokój, świadomość spełnionej tęsknoty, która rozpłynęła się chmurach a my jesteśmy szczęśliwi będąc tuż obok najbliższej sercu osoby. Cóż więcej można napisać o tej płycie? Mam pusto w głowie, nie chcę powielać wyświechtanych frazesów, które zupełnie nie przystoją atmosferze panującej na tym krążku. Powiem tylko, że to muzyka wspomnień, refleksji, tęsknot i ponadczasowych uczuć łączących kilkoro ludzi, tu i tam. Nie spodziewałem się, że ten winyl tak błyskawicznie i tak mocno znajdzie miejsce w moim sercu. WERMUT to absolutnie unikalna grupa, która mimo tego, że nagrywa za każdym razem różne, stylistycznie odmienne płyty, to każda z nich jest jednak wypełniona po brzegi tą samą specyficzną, aurą, tym samym, nie dającym się podrobić przez nikogo aromatem. Na "Les Nuits Dalmates" zespół po raz kolejny pokazał, że marni podrabiacze i wyrobnicy zostali daleko w tyle.

Three years after a very good album "Les Cinq a sept post-néoistes" WERMUT is coming back with the second part of a post-neoistic trilogy, released by Old Europa Café. More wine, more magic, more decadent, strong emotions of friendship and more tracks in the post-industrial/neo-cabaret aesthetics. Like on the first part, also here we have some guests. This time we can hear such eminent musicians as Tairy from AIT! or Demian from O PARADIS, which together with the members of WERMUT , Sofie and Laszlo, again made a brilliant stuff. In this music, there is everything that I love and what can be found in the sounds of above mentioned groups. Let's add to these impressions a pinch of melancholy, well known from the album ICH WOLLTE ICH KONNTE "In Memoriam" (WERMUT members project), and we have a sound jewel. Each of seven tracks on the "Les Nuits Dalmates" is a sheer masterpiece, like an exquisite dinner at the Adriatic shore. For me the most moving and engaging is a composition titled "Tan Distino", where sings Demian from O PARADIS. It is like a soundtrack to the fairytale, dreamy film saturated with angelic peace and awareness of fulfilled longing, which disappears somewhere in the clouds, and we are happy being next to the person we love. What else can I write about this album? My head is empty, I don't want to use tattered claptrap, which absolutely do not match to the atmosphere of this vinyl. I can only say, it is the music of memories, reflections, longings and timeless feelings that connect people living in different parts of a globe. I didn't expect that this album would find a place in my heart so fast and so deeply. WERMUT is a totally unique group, and though they record each album in a different stylistics, on all of them we can find the same specific aura and aroma impossible to imitate. On the "Les Nuits Dalmates" the band have shown again, that miserable forgers and hacks are far behind.
